Templates & clause library
In plain English
version90 builds your template and clause library from documents you already have. Upload your standard agreements; clauses are extracted automatically; you approve the keepers; and inserting one into a live negotiation is a single tracked change.
Your best contract already exists
Somewhere in your history is the MSA where you got the terms right — the one your best-negotiated deal runs on. That document, not a blank form, is your real template. version90 treats it that way: upload it, and it becomes a baseline for benchmarking, a template for new deals, and a source of extracted clauses, all at once.
Clauses as building blocks
Extraction breaks your standards into individually approved clauses — the liability cap you always want, the indemnity you'll accept, the governing-law provision your counsel blessed once so you'd stop asking. During any review, insert one where it belongs; it arrives numbered correctly and marked as a tracked insertion with your name on it.
Library gaps, suggested — not guessed
The dashboard cross-references your business type and your actual archive to point out what's missing: "you've signed 14 SOWs and have no standard SOW terms" is a suggestion worth acting on; a generic 40-template starter pack is landfill. We do the former.
Small print, on purpose
Templates and clauses are your language, managed by you. version90 doesn't sell form agreements or legal content — and your library should still get a periodic pass from a licensed attorney.
Frequently asked questions
How do I create templates in version90?
By uploading documents, not filling out forms. Drop your standard MSA or NDA into the library and it becomes a reusable template and baseline in one step; version90 also extracts its individual clauses as candidates you approve into your clause library.
What is the clause library for?
It's your best language, ready to reuse. During review, 'Insert clause' drops an approved clause into the draft as a tracked change — correctly numbered, attributed to you, visible to the counterparty like any other redline.
Does version90 suggest which templates I'm missing?
Yes. Based on your business type and what your archive shows you actually sign, the home dashboard suggests library gaps — for example, an agency that signs lots of SOWs but has no standard SOW terms will be told exactly that.
Can clauses carry my company details?
Your organization's identity — legal name, jurisdiction, notice address, signatory — lives in Settings and is used to fill party details, so templates stop being documents with «COMPANY» holes in them.
