Allowances & credits, in full.

In plain English

$100/month includes 10 new contracts a month, 300 AI credits a month (a full review is 10 credits, an explanation is 2 — roughly 30 reviews or 150 explains, any mix), a 100-document archive with extraction included, and unlimited users. Go over, and credits top you up at published rates — $10 buys 100, they never expire, and nothing is ever charged without asking you first.

The philosophy: meter the work, not the people

Per-seat pricing turns collaboration into a procurement question — should we really add Priya to the contract tool? — which is exactly backwards. In version90, people are free and unlimited. What's metered is work product: contracts started, AI actions run, documents archived. Those numbers are visible on your billing page at all times, and the meter is designed to be boring.

Schedule 1 — What's included, precisely

Allowance Included What one unit means
New contracts 10 / month A new negotiation workspace, counted once when created. All of its versions, redlines, comments, and downloads are included — a 14-round negotiation is still one contract.
AI credits 300 / month AI actions cost credits in proportion to the work: a full review of a draft is 10 credits (five model passes over the whole document); an explain-this-change is 2. That's roughly 30 reviews or 150 explanations a month, in any mix. Automatic identification on upload is free; failed runs never charge.
Archived contracts 100 documents Library capacity (not monthly): executed agreements stored, extraction included, searchable. Delete one, free the slot. Beyond capacity, an extra slot is 5 credits with its extraction included.
Users Unlimited Everyone. Editors, reviewers, admins, observers, your accountant, the intern. People never meter anything.

Never counted: viewing, editing, commenting, downloading, versions received from counterparties, internal notes, invitations, or re-running something that failed.

Schedule 2 — Credits, for the busy months

$10 = 100 credits

  • Full AI review 10 credits · $1.00
  • Explain a change 2 credits · $0.20
  • Extra contract 25 credits · $2.50
  • Extra archive slot (extraction incl.) 5 credits · $0.50

Credits roll over forever. Rates are published here and in the app — if they ever change, existing credits keep the rate they were bought at.

We ask before charging.

Hit a limit and work pauses politely: use credits, buy a pack, or wait for the reset. Optional auto-top-up exists — with a monthly cap you set. 'Surprise true-up invoice' is an enterprise tradition we declined to inherit.

The meter is always visible.

Contracts, AI credits and archive slots used this month sit on your billing page in plain numbers — not in a PDF your account manager sends after the quarter closes.

The math stays sane.

A wild month — say 15 contracts and double the AI credits — runs about $143 all-in. The same month on enterprise CLM is a rounding error on the invoice you already paid.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly counts as one contract in version90?

One contract = one negotiation workspace, counted once, in the month you create it. Everything inside it is included: every version the counterparty sends back, every redline, comment, download and team member. A 14-round negotiation is still one contract.

Why do different AI actions cost different credits?

Because they are different amounts of work. A full review makes five model passes over your entire document (segmentation, key terms, baseline comparison, findings, summary) — that's 10 credits. An explanation of one change reads the document once — 2 credits. The weights track our actual compute cost, which is how the price stays $100 instead of drifting toward enterprise numbers.

Do version90 credits expire?

No. Credits roll over month to month until you use them. A pack is $10 for 100 credits, and the exchange rates are published on this page — a full review is 10 credits, an explanation 2, an extra contract 25, an extra archive slot 5.

Can version90 charge me without asking?

No. When an allowance runs out, work pauses and version90 asks how you'd like to proceed — use credits, buy a pack, or wait for the month to reset. Optional auto-top-up exists for teams that never want to pause, with a monthly cap you set. There is no such thing as a surprise invoice.

Do unused monthly allowances roll over?

Included allowances reset each month (they're part of the subscription, not credits you bought). Purchased credits are yours until spent. If you're consistently over or under, tell us — plan tiers will follow what real usage looks like.

Is any of this per-user?

No. Users are unlimited on every dimension: viewers, editors, admins, the whole company. Allowances meter work product (contracts, AI actions, archive slots), never people.
